Almost 32 Weeks

I have been staying soooooo busy. It is amazing how fast time has been flying by. I can't believe I'm almost 32 weeks. The first 3 months seemed to DRAGGGGG so took forever to pass. Now it's passing before I can get all my things finished!!!

The hubby and I have been busy setting up the baby room. The hubby installed moldings about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom. He painted the existing and new moldings a dark red color and the bottom part of the wall is navy blue. The very top of the wall is a white color called "Mickey's Gloves". The room looks fabulous!!! No pastel colors in our baby's room.

We went wtih the Classic Mickey bed set. He set up the crib, bedding, changing table, mobile, etc. I also washed all of his baby clothes and organized them in a new set of drawers. I am a bit OCD about organizing stuff. So, most everything in the baby's room is finished. The poor hubby has a to do list: paint one side of the doors for the closet and doorway.

I have been getting pretty tired by the end of every day, but I guess that is to be expected. My carpal tunnel is not so bad and is under control. I have been getting headaches a LOT. I think that has been the hardest thing for me lately.

My two favorite parts of being pregnant:
1) I can see my baby moving my stomache. I can feel him kicking, moving etc. Now my hubby can too!!!!
2) My outie bellybutton. It amuses me.

I hope to get my lesson plans done for my leave. Then I think I can relax a bit.

So we found out last week that I am pregnant!

I left work half day on Monday just feeling absolutely nauceous. I thought I was just coming down with a flu that I must have picked up from the kids. So I was crying to the hubby that I felt miserable and I was joking around and I told him that I either I have the swine flue or I am pregnant. He started thinking and realized that it HAD been awhile since I had a period.

Sooo I quickly went to take one of the dollar tree preggo tests. I start seeing TWO lines in the lil windown thing. But because I was in shock I took another test from the dollar tree and IT was positive too.

Then I made him go to walgreens and get a different one cause I didn't believe the dollar store tests. So a total of 4 tests later it began to sink in. (I know it only shows three but there were truly 4)

I called in sick on Wednesday cause I was so so so so so so nauseated and much more. I went to my primary doctor who confirmed what it was. He told me which meds I could take.

I wonder how far I am? anywhere between 4-6 weeks at this point? Maybe? Who knows? Not me.

We had been charting temps, etc. and had no luck. So I figured I was too stressed so I stopped paying attention to it all together.

But YAY! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope everything is healthy.

sickish again

Poor dog was sick again this week. Monday night the dog woke up 2 times to go out. When I came home on Tuesday after school there were lovely doo puddles all over the place. Nice. I did a lot of dry heaving while cleaning those puddles and those were not hte last of the week.

Our normal vet (not our holistic med vet) really was very negative about what we are doing for Cash. I was irritated. We went to get his diarhea fixed not get a lecture. Plus, I believe in what we are doing. I know lots of people have strong opinions about alterative medicine but we have seen GREAT changes in our dog. So I feel that its right for him. We spent 100 dollars at our regular vet and we got lots of negativity and felt bad about what we thought is right. Also THEY DIDNT FIX THE PROZBLEM!!!!! We took him to our alternative med vet (who is also a normal vet as well) and she got a sample on a slide and figured out he needed antibiotics. So she changed less and Cash is all fixed. We need to think about what we are going to do and maybe change vets. Just because you don't agree with a type of medicine you don't get to lecture at all. To me you should respect different forms of medicine. Plus this form of alternative medicine is used on humans just fine. BLAH!

I feel sickish right now. Bleh. Hope I feel better tomorrow.

I'm somewhat cranky as of now. I didn't take some of the meds I normally take and MAN do I cry for absolutely no reason. I feel better than before. But my stomach hurts.

I have lost another 1.6 lbs this week. So keeping the numbers in the right direction.
