sickish again
Poor dog was sick again this week. Monday night the dog woke up 2 times to go out. When I came home on Tuesday after school there were lovely doo puddles all over the place. Nice. I did a lot of dry heaving while cleaning those puddles and those were not hte last of the week.
Our normal vet (not our holistic med vet) really was very negative about what we are doing for Cash. I was irritated. We went to get his diarhea fixed not get a lecture. Plus, I believe in what we are doing. I know lots of people have strong opinions about alterative medicine but we have seen GREAT changes in our dog. So I feel that its right for him. We spent 100 dollars at our regular vet and we got lots of negativity and felt bad about what we thought is right. Also THEY DIDNT FIX THE PROZBLEM!!!!! We took him to our alternative med vet (who is also a normal vet as well) and she got a sample on a slide and figured out he needed antibiotics. So she changed less and Cash is all fixed. We need to think about what we are going to do and maybe change vets. Just because you don't agree with a type of medicine you don't get to lecture at all. To me you should respect different forms of medicine. Plus this form of alternative medicine is used on humans just fine. BLAH!
I feel sickish right now. Bleh. Hope I feel better tomorrow.
I'm somewhat cranky as of now. I didn't take some of the meds I normally take and MAN do I cry for absolutely no reason. I feel better than before. But my stomach hurts.
I have lost another 1.6 lbs this week. So keeping the numbers in the right direction.
I would like to take off the rest of this week. Please and thank you.

long day
Wow, was today ever long. Kids get antsy at the end of the year. Lets NOT recap cause once was enough.
What is fun is the dieting is going well so far. I had a Starbucks today, which makes me happy. Fat free version is just as caffinated. YUM caffine from starbucks. LOVE IT. One of the UofA students brings me it. FABULOUS. I hope to see 2 lbs gone by Sunday. Have my fingers crossed.
Why do the papers report all the budget cuts on front page but do not report the title one monies that we received? stupid.
Here are some fun pics that make me happy.
Me and the doggie. I had my hair cut and i put it into wet mini pigtails after the shower. BE QUIET! I was being lazy and not feeling hair styling or makeup. Whatever.

Me and my baby love:

Not A Bad Week
I can say, I am throughly loving my job as of late. I'm staying busy trying to get the kids up to where they need to be academically. I am so happy that the UofA students are back from Spring Break. I truly missed them when they were gone. I had gotten used to the extra help in my classroom. I have currently 5-6 UofA students per week and sometimes a child's mother comes in to help me as well. It's easy to get spoiled. ;)
I've found a very cool website Pioneer Woman. I love the recipe section. It makes me happy because of the pictures. Good for someone like me who is not a great cook. I feel motivated to make a blackberry cobbler. Maybe I will over my Spring break.
Tried to post pics of my class but having technical difficulties. Maybe tomorrow.
The hubby gave me the best birthday balloon ever so I took a picture of it (we swam with dophins on our honeymoon):

Because I'm apparently broken and have not gotten preggers yet, I hold my pug baby style:

this is his tired baby face.

Cashy Update and Other Randomness
So the pug is much better, he had to get new medicine for his lead, and he is continuing on the medicine that he is using for his ear infection. You can actually see the hole in his ear. He also got a bordetella vaccination, yearly wellness exam, heartworm test, and fecal test. He's damn expensive. My hubby had to get the fecal sample at lunch time so that it would be ready for me to take when I got off of work. So he called the vet to see if that would be ok. They said it was fine as long as he refridgerated the doo sample. Refridgerated FRESHNESS. ;)
We went to Target today and we got Cash a new pet bed. This one has a pillow in it. He was all freaked out by it when he went in. What a picky dog. Here he is in his new bed:

And here is one with his favorite monkey toy. He's gone through 3 of these. He always kills the squeaker.

Not much else going on this weekend. Just spending time with the family. My brother is home for spring break. Only other thing that I did was go shopping with my mom at Macy's. I got a cute camisole with matching underwear! Since my mom has lost lots of weight she got a cute pair of panties. Too funny, my brothers were freaking out when we were showing all of the stuff that we had bought.
Tomorrow I hope to do our taxes! Fun times. That and I need to do my report cards so they are ready to go on Monday.
I have my fingers crossed that I still have a job next year with all of these budget cuts.

Sick Kid
My poor pug this week. On Friday my hubby felt his ear and felt crust that was not there the previous night. So we looked and to our shock and horror we saw the Cash's ear was BRIGHT RED, was filled with nasty pus, and was SO SWOLLEN that we couldnt see his ear hole. It had swelled shut. So I made the hubby take off work for the morning to go to the vet. A LOT OF MONEY LATER, we found out that he had a yeast and bacterial infections. He has steriods to take, ointment, and a special flush. FUN stuff.
Work is going ok. The team made some decisions that worked in my favor. So right now I'm concentrating on getting some of the kids back up to grade level. I'm doing for free tutoring after school. Hopefully that will quickly do the trick.

Puggy Goodness
So if you love pugs, you NEED to see this link: Pug Screen Cleaner It is by far the FUNNIEST thing that I have ever seen. What makes it sooo funny is that Cash does the same exact thing. He sometimes licks my FEET like this. Too hilarious.
Here are some way too cute Cash photos:
