SAHM

I have been staying with the little man for 6 out of the 7 months. It has been HEAVEN. Granted, I have been unemployed for a bit. But, that's ok. I got my job back today!

Little man is sitting up, standing, rolling over. Hopefully he will be crawling soon. It's amazing how fast he is growing up. I was looking at his 3 month pictures and he was such a little baldie. Hehe, his hair came in nice. I am totally biased, but the lil man is so freaking cute.

The hubby and I are doing well. Poor hubs has been working so hard to make up for the fact that I had lost my job. But, now he will be taking a day off during the week.

The plan for when I return to work is to have MIL watch Peanut M-W. TH hubs will watch him and Friday my mom will watch him. Not to shabby. In January we will have to revisit the arrangement, as my mom doesn't have Friday's off Jan-June.

We leave for vacation soon. Thank goodness!!! I need to get out of this heat. It will be nice to see all of my mom's side of the family. I have missed seeing them. The cousins especially!

Dread...

Well my Peanut is 13 weeks this week. I cannot believe how FAST time flies.

Someone at work said that I would be bored and be ready to come back to work at 8 weeks. Yeah, that's a big.fat.lie.

I do NOT want to go back. I would LOVE to be a stay at home mom.

My days right now are nursing, singing, reading, and talking too the baby. And I love it. Oh, and I clean when he naps.

I have big anxiety about going back and I tear up when I think about it.

2010

Here we are in 2010! Its amazing how fast your life can change. I had my beautiful baby in December! He is far to cute for words! When I go to my mom's I will post some pictures.

It will be exciting when he starts sleeping through the night. I can imagine that the Duggar mom has not seen a full nights sleep in like 18 years. That has to be hard. I think if it went on that long for me, it would make me lose some of my sanity! And I can't really afford that lol.

My baby boy makes the best facial expressions. My favorite is blue steel. Or is it Ferrari? Yeah the Zoolander reference amuses me and my brothers. The hubby has never seen the movie and doesn't get it.

I'm starting to feel a bit better. I wound up needing a c section because I had dialated to 8 cm but was stuck there for quite some time. My urine had begun to turn bloody and my blood pressure was going up. After the c section it was discovered that he was on my bladder and wasn't getting off. This caused my bladder to not drain all the way and it was full. He had been on my bladder all through my pregnancy and it caused a lot of pain. I guess he was comfy on it.

I can't imagine why anyone would choose to have a c section. It was pretty scary for me. The anesthesia numbs you up but I could still feel lots of pressure and tugging at my skin. The tugging is pretty creepy. After he was delivered, with the anesthesia I had crazy amounts of tension in my shoulders and neck during the surgery. That and I felt short of breath, nauseated, and burpy! Once they pulled him out I felt overwhelmingly exhausted. I have never been so tired in all my life. I thought there was something wrong I was so tired! That and it takes like half an hour to sew/staple your stomach shut. Fun times! Needless to say, I'm going for a VBAC next time!

Almost 32 Weeks

I have been staying soooooo busy. It is amazing how fast time has been flying by. I can't believe I'm almost 32 weeks. The first 3 months seemed to DRAGGGGG so took forever to pass. Now it's passing before I can get all my things finished!!!

The hubby and I have been busy setting up the baby room. The hubby installed moldings about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom. He painted the existing and new moldings a dark red color and the bottom part of the wall is navy blue. The very top of the wall is a white color called "Mickey's Gloves". The room looks fabulous!!! No pastel colors in our baby's room.

We went wtih the Classic Mickey bed set. He set up the crib, bedding, changing table, mobile, etc. I also washed all of his baby clothes and organized them in a new set of drawers. I am a bit OCD about organizing stuff. So, most everything in the baby's room is finished. The poor hubby has a to do list: paint one side of the doors for the closet and doorway.

I have been getting pretty tired by the end of every day, but I guess that is to be expected. My carpal tunnel is not so bad and is under control. I have been getting headaches a LOT. I think that has been the hardest thing for me lately.

My two favorite parts of being pregnant:
1) I can see my baby moving my stomache. I can feel him kicking, moving etc. Now my hubby can too!!!!
2) My outie bellybutton. It amuses me.

I hope to get my lesson plans done for my leave. Then I think I can relax a bit.

Same Old, Same Old. Just a Bit Fatter:)

So it has been a long time since I've been at my parents' house and able to use the computer.

I finished up at the daycare. I wound up having to cut my hours due to exhaustion. The church has a swamp cooler and heat/humidity+8hrs+preggo me= sickness. But it went well. The highlight was having my nephew there every other week. He is such a SWEET and SMART and MELLOW child. :):):) I can't believe that he is in kinder already.


I will be 23 weeks preggo this next Tuesday. I am feeling well. I lost my old blackberry (with my preggo belly pics) in a pregnant moment. I swear my memory is going... But I took a picture today! Oh and I have carpal tunnel. Two arm splints is a HOT look for me.



I started a new school year and I feel very motivated and happy about it. I have a small class size which makes me incredibly happy. I have to sit a lot more so having a small class size makes it easier.

I haven't had access to the internet in awhile so I thought I'd update from my trusty phone.

I'm feeling better than before. I mostly just feel sick at night. I feel enormously bloated right now which is fun times. I have my first appointment this coming week. I am so very nervous!!!

I'm working at the daycare. I love first graders and I remember why I turned down a kinder position. Its a lot of teaching them how to be in a structured environment. The plus is I love working at the church and I now get my nephew all day. Which is fabulous. He is such a sweet sweet smart child. I love seeing him so much. He's protective of my stomach. A little one was rocking me in the rocker and I told her to stop because it was hurting my stomach. Steven got upset and told her "stop that don't hurt my cousin don't hurt my baby cousin" so cute!
